- Palm Sunday - A Vintage Bible dated 1838
How special to me is owning someone's Vintage Bible from years gone by. To me the Bible meant, it was someones strength in times of trouble, since it was in many instances their only means of protection. It served as a School Book, for children to learn out of. It was a source of intertainment at night for the whole family to sit around while the Father would read the stories out loud. Also, it served as a document for the Mother or Father to record the Births and the Deaths of family members. This Bible shown, shows the age, and also shows the Births of his children, and their deaths.
My thoughts are maybe we can get back to our Bibles the way it was so many years ago....
